The Bike Exchange is a unique, volunteer-driven program that collects, repairs, and sells donated bicycles to support youth programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County. Every bike restored helps fund life-changing opportunities for local youth while promoting sustainability and access to affordable transportation.

Volunteers play a vital role in keeping the Bike Exchange running and making a direct impact in the community.


Volunteer Responsibilities

As a Bike Exchange volunteer, you may assist with:

• Repairing and refurbishing donated bicycles (training available)
• Helping customers select the right bike
• Organizing and sorting incoming bike donations
• Supporting bike drives and community collection events
• Assisting with shop operations and setup
• Transporting bikes when needed

No prior bike repair experience is required, just a willingness to learn and help.

Volunteers can serve during the following hours:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 PM to 7:45 PM
• Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM

Flexible scheduling is available based on your availability.
